What does SeamCheck actually do?
A manager uploads a PDF drawing, drops a pin on every weld that needs to happen, and assigns each one to a specific welder. The welder sees only their own welds, marks them complete with an optional photo, and the manager watches progress come in on a dashboard — no spreadsheets, no paper travelers.
Do welders need to install anything?
No. SeamCheck runs in a browser on whatever they already have — a shop tablet, a phone, a computer at a workstation. They log in, see their assigned welds, and mark them done.
What happens if a weld doesn't pass inspection?
A manager can send a completed weld back with a note explaining what's wrong. It shows up on the welder's list flagged as needing rework, with that note attached, until it's redone and marked complete again.
How does a welder join my company?
Every company gets an invite code from the Team page. Share it with a welder and they enter it when they sign up — that's what puts them on your team and scopes them to only your company's drawings.
Can more than one manager work on the same job?
Yes. A company can have multiple managers, and any of them can upload drawings, assign welds, review completions, or reject work that needs to be redone.
Where do the completion photos and drawings get stored?
In private, access-controlled storage — visible only to people on your company's account. See the Privacy Policy for the full details on what's collected and how it's used.
Is there a cost to get started?
SeamCheck is $19.99/month, or $199/year if you pay yearly. Every new company gets a 14-day free trial — a card is required to start it, but you won't be charged until day 15, and you can cancel anytime before that from the billing page. See the Pricing page for details.
